It’s unclear which teams might be interested in trading for Murphy, who turned 26 earlier this month. The Celtics could make sense as a suitor given that the team is going to listen to offers for Jaylen Brown. However, with reports of the Pelicans targeting someone in the lottery of Tuesday’s NBA Draft, New Orleans could move Murphy or Herb Jones in a trade for a draft pick tonight. The Hawks, who have the eighth pick, and Warriors, who have the 11th pick, could be potential suitors for a Murphy trade.
  • Windhorst, appearing on the Hoop Collective podcast, wondered aloud about what Edwards might be thinking in the aftermath of Giannis Antetokounmpo being traded to the Heat as well as the Timberwolves trading Julius Randle in a salary dump. Windhorst said Edwards has been frustrated with how he’s double teamed by opponents since Minnesota trade Karl Anthony-Towns two years ago. The Timberwolves have to add more offense this offseason to alleviate some of that burden on Edwards. While no trade is imminent, don’t expect Edwards to have a shortage of suitors if he eventually requests a trade.
  • BOS Guard #28
Appearing on ESPN’s Get Up on Tuesday morning, Charania reported that the Celtics were unwilling to include young players like Hugo González and Baylor Scheierman or add additional draft picks or pick swaps in their offer to the Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo. While there was some speculation before the trade that González could be considered untouchable given the Celtics’ internal opinion of him, Charania said Boston simply believed their offer of Jaylen Brown and two unprotected first-round picks to be an aggressive offer. Apparently it wasn’t aggressive enough for the Bucks, who chose to accept Heat’s offer, which included more young players and draft picks.
  • MIA Guard #24
Appearing on ESPN’s Get Up on Tuesday morning, Windhorst expressed concern that the Heat will be able to surround Giannis Antetokounmpo with enough shooting this upcoming season. His primary reason for concern is that he believes the Heat will lose Powell in free agency barring the 33-year-old All-Star taking a “crazy discount.” With Miami up against the cap and having already put so many assets in the Giannis trade, the Heat will have to make some moves on the cheap to fill out the roster. It appears Powell could be out of their price range.
  • Amick, citing league sources, reports the Heat initially attempted to include Davion Mitchell in the trade rather than Jakučionis. With Mitchell on an expiring contract, the Bucks wanted a player with more time remaining on their rookie contract. It was a reasonable ask considering two of the other players the Bucks acquired (Tyler Herro and Jaimie Jaquez Jr.) are also on expiring deals. The Bucks held out and landed Jakučionis, who has three years left on his contract. He remains an intriguing dynasty asset on the rebuilding Bucks.
  • Amick, citing league sources, reported that the Bucks will listen to offers on their newly acquired 26-year-old All-Star point guard. He went on to say that it’s believed that Herro will have a robust market with the Detroit Pistons among many interested teams. While the trade sending Herro to the Bucks has been agreed to, it won’t be finalized until July 6, which means there’s still time for more teams and players to be added to the deal. Finding Herro, whose contract is expiring, a new home makes sense as the Bucks head into a rebuild in the post-Giannis era.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #7
Windhorst, appearing on ESPN’s Get Up Tuesday morning, said that teams around the league have been preparing in recent days to pursue Brown in the event that the Celtics didn’t complete the trade for Antetokounmpo, who was dealt to the Heat. Now that this exact scenario has come to pass, Windhorst believes we’ll see Brown’s trade market continue to play out with a bidding war for his services. While Windhorst said he thinks it’ll take some time to trade Brown, he also mentioned that a deal involving draft picks could accelerate that timeline with the NBA Draft on Tuesday night. Brown was NBA Finals MVP in 2024 and named to the All-NBA second-team this past season.
  • MIL Guard #14
The long-rumored trade between the Heat and Bucks is finally done, and Herro, a native of the Milwaukee area, is headed back home. Coming off of his first All-Star season, the 2025-26 campaign was one to forget for the guard, who was limited to 33 games due to injuries. Herro was effective when healthy, averaging 20.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.5 three-pointers per game, shooting 48.0 percent from the field and 91.7 percent from the foul line. There have been some rumors that Milwaukee could look to move Herro elsewhere. However, if he were to stay, the guard would be a key building block in the post-Giannis era of the franchise. That status would raise his fantasy ceiling, even if Herro’s efficiency could suffer.
  • Antetokounmpo is heading south with Bobby Portis, with Milwaukee receiving Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakučionis, three future first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and one second-round pick. The Heat were the most persistent team in their pursuit of Antetokounmpo, and a deal was finalized the night before the 2026 NBA Draft. While he is one of the most dominant players in the league, Giannis’s health has been an issue recently. Multiple calf injuries limited him to 36 games last season, and the Greek Freak has exceeded 70 regular-season games once since 2018-19. When available, he can offer first-round value, especially to fantasy managers punting free-throw percentage, but the Heat will have some spacing issues to address between Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo.
  • BKN Center #33
Less than 24 hours before the start of the 2026 NBA Draft, the Bulls have reportedly addressed their need for a center. Claxton appeared in 69 games for the Nets last season, averaging 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 blocks, shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 61.6 percent from the foul line. Playing alongside an established point guard in Josh Giddey could pay dividends for Claxton, but Giddey has been the subject of trade rumors recently. A solid option for managers willing to punt free-throw percentage, Claxton may be able to raise his fantasy ceiling in the Windy City. As for Brooklyn, they’ve got a hole to address at the center position, with Noah Clowney and Day’Ron Sharpe being potential options to fill the void.
