This move was expected. Parsons himself said a few weeks ago that a Week 6 return was his “most optimistic” timeline. A spot on the reserve PUP list means Parsons must miss at least the first four months of the season. He is still recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in Week 15 of the 2025 season. Parsons should still be a force on the defensive front when he’s back, but that won’t happen until at least October.
  • FA Defensive Tackle #99
The incentive-heavy deal is worth a maximum of $30 million for the longtime defensive stalwart, who comes out of a two-year retirement to chase another ring with the Rams. Donald worked out at the team facility multiple times throughout the offseason, making the signing less shocking than it otherwise would have been had there been no ties between the two sides earlier this summer. The Rams now carry one of the top defenses in the league after the acquisitions of Myles Garrett, Jaylen Watson, and Trent McDuffie this offseason, in addition to coming off a season in which they led the league in scoring at 30 points per game. The betting favorites to win the Super Bowl in February gain another weapon.
  • FA Running Back #23
Well this one is going to leave a mark. 2025 fifth-rounder Blue was a summer ’25 fantasy creation the Cowboys never seemed to get behind, confirming as much when they made him a Week 1 healthy scratch. That set the tone for a bitterly disappointing rookie year that featured just 39 touches. This offseason seemed to be different, however, with head coach Brian Schottenheimer spending the spring dishing out over-the-top positive quotes on his second-year back. The praise again died down during training camp, but Blue showed well in his preseason action. Just apparently nowhere close to well enough to beat out survivor veteran Malik Davis for No. 2 status behind Javonte Williams. Blue is still only 22 years old, but his back-to-back failures to earn pass-catching duties in a backfield that could really use such a player is an ominous sign for his NFL future. He’s now a tenuous hold in dynasty leagues despite his youth and past high expectations. All of that being said, it is possible once the cut-down dust settles that either Blue or fellow waived sophomore Phil Mafah end up back on the Cowboys’ 53-man roster.
  • FA Quarterback #8
An ill-fated “second-round savior” in the 2023 Draft, now 27-year-old Levis is sent packing from the Music City with 21 starts under his belt. That included zero in 2025 as Levis missed the entire season with a shoulder injury behind No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. In theory, Levis “competed” for the backup job this summer, but journeyman free agent Mitch Trubisky was always the heavy favorite. Levis has all the physical talent in the world, but not the accuracy or processing, at least so far. It’s possible a more functional franchise could turn him in to a legit No. 2 quarterback, but that does not seem terribly likely at this point.
  • LA Wide Receiver #12
Three players landed on what amounts to the “suspended with pay” list on Sunday, but Pelissero reports Nacua isn’t one of them. That does not necessarily mean Nacua is out of the woods for all time with the NFL, but his situation did not rise to the level of Josh Jacobs’ in the eyes of the shield. Now the main Week 1 question mark for Nacua is his groin injury, but it is not expected to keep him out of the Rams’ Australian opener vs. the 49ers.
  • GB Running Back #8
Jacobs was charged on two misdemeanors last week after initially being arrested in late May on five counts, including one felony. The NFL will now use the Commissioner Exempt List as they gather more information about the incident in question, which involved brutality towards a female in the garage of a shared home. Jacobs will still be paid but will be unable to participate in practice while he remains on the exempt list, although players are typically allowed to participate in team meetings. There is no telling how long Jacobs will remain on the exempt list as only the Commissioner holds the authority to remove him, meaning Jacobs could be away from the team until the criminal system is complete or he could be active in Week 1. Jacobs’ initial appearance in court is not scheduled until November, coinciding with Week 11, leaving a wide range of outcomes for fantasy managers to begin the season. Reports from the organization were far from forthcoming in recent weeks, most recently acquiring former Steelers running back Kaleb Johnson in a trade executed Sunday. Reading the tea leaves paints a morbid picture for Jacobs’ availability to start the 2026 regular season in less than two short weeks. MarShawn Lloyd suddenly finds himself atop the backfield depth chart in Green Bay and is a priority waiver addition for leagues that have already drafted, and should be treated as an upside back in the middle rounds of drafts.
  • FA Running Back #21
Johnson, who has bounced around the league since spending his first four pro seasons with the Browns, will likely end up on another roster as a depth piece. Johnson has just 28 rushing attempts over his past three seasons with various teams, including the Patriots in 2025. It looks like Nicholas Singletary and Michael Carter will function as the Titans’ RB3 and RB4, respectively, behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.
  • IND Wide Receiver #10
Per Maske, the NFL’s substances of abuse policy outlines a three-game suspension for a “first offense of a violation of the law involving alcohol,” which would encompass the two DWI charges levied against Allen early Sunday morning. There is no telling when a potential suspension would be on the table for the veteran receiver, leaving fantasy managers in the dark as they contemplate additional variance associated with his profile. The additional details surrounding Allen’s specific arrest could lessen league discipline as well considering he was parked illegally and not in the act of driving, but the law is clear in that any person sitting in a vehicle with keys is considered with intent to operate while intoxicated. More to come as the most recent saga plays out.
  • TB Running Back #44
The contract comes fully guaranteed as Tucker gets the stability he was looking for this offseason after entering 2026 on a restricted free agent tender of $3.52 million. Tucker presumably sits third on the depth chart at running back for the Buccaneers after the addition of Kenny Gainwell, a situation he has grown accustomed to during his time in Tampa. The pay cut likely stands as a boost to starter Bucky Irving after numerous reports this offseason called for a potential three-way timeshare in the backfield, something that now appears less likely given current circumstances.
  • MIA Quarterback #18
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The draft pick going to the Packers is a 2028 sixth-round pick. After trading Quinn Ewers to the Jaguars, the Dolphins acquired their new backup QB in McCord, who had an impressive preseason. The Dolphins new GM and HC came from Green Bay this offseason and so did both of the quarterbacks on their active roster in McCord and starter Malik Willis. McCord was a sixth-round pick by the Eagles in the 2025 NFL Draft and is yet to appear in a regular season game.
